90’s

A few weeks ago I did a feature on Etsy shop FABITORIA, which is no doubt one of the best independent online stores I’ve seen. I styled the “#8” skirt with a high neck crop top and some soon-to-be-released Kastor & Pollux fall jewelry. My friend Sherry took these dazzling photos of me basking in the setting sun all dramatic and whatnot.

Has anybody else noticed that the 90’s are back? Maybe it’s just because I’m constantly surrounded by downtown bred youth but everywhere I look it seems like midriff exposure, platform shoes, plaid shirts tied around the waist, and evil eye jewelry are everywhere I turn. I’m not complaining – don’t get me wrong – I think the 90’s was the greatest decade ever (out of the three that I’ve lived in, the prior I’ve seen in movies etc, and most likely the future given that the Spice Girls have failed to make a comeback multiple times thus passed their prime for good). It’s just that there’s a lot of things that should stay in that epic era, such as tattoo chokers, square toed footwear, and shimmery brown lipstick. Let’s keep it classy, alright guys?
