back2school

I woke up yesterday morning and I was all like “shit…this again”.

It’s the moment I’ve been dreading for the past five months; my return to #recluselife (boo), but also regular blogging (yay)(!!!!) After a fun and fabulous summer, getting back into the routine of ~educating myself~ is probably an A+ situation (considering how I’m pretty sure my brain is rotting by the second), but it’s hard not to feel a little resentful…seeing as how I had very few days off and even less time to sit around and revel in my *summer vacation*. Nonetheless, as my friends like to remind me, my downtime increases about 100x once school starts, so maybe I’ll actually be social and do un-work-related things with people!!! Excitement is rapidly ensuing!!!

I also got a haircut. Which is great, because I feel like I’m no longer wearing a hat made out of my own hair, but also bad, because my roots are approximately one thousand times more visible. But ANYWAY, that will be fixed in due time I HOPE. $$$.

When people ask me what my next hair plans are, I always bring up my #1 fear of stepping into convocation wearing that stupid graduation hat with NO VISIBLE HAIR in sight. I realize that sounds like a really dumb fear, but just take the time to picture said situation and understand where I am coming from.

H&M top and jacket, Alexander Wang shorts, Dr. Marten boots, ~Customized~ backpack via Roots

!! ALSO !! I was reunited with my photographer boyfriend Amy, fresh of the plane from Italy, so now I have my regular photo monkey attached to my hip again yippie yay woohoo CeLeBrAtIoN!!!!!
