NYFW Day 6

After almost of a week of running around the city for shows, showrooms, studios, parties, and various fancy restaurants (read: McDonald’s and Froyo joints… and maybe that one pizzeria I passed out in), it’s only natural for us to have wanted to spend our final day in New York surrounded by friends in peaceful environments.

Ergo the corny photos of Bobby, Peter, Bethany, Danielle and I on the rooftop of the Dream Downtown. I would refer to them as awkward family photos but I think we did a really great job of appearing to be a wholesome group of people… because that is what we are.

As usual, Bobby managed to convince us to prop our legs up on the ~*moody furniture*~ for ample photographic fun, but since he is the virtuoso of said practices, we may or may not appear to be a tad uncomfortable in these shots. We apologize.

We spent the remainder of the afternoon having coffee with a number of people, including the Lookbook.nu team and Luanna from Le Happy, who is every bit as beautiful and down-to-earth as she is on the internet.

To sum it up, New York Fashion Week was a mishmash of stress, fun, heels in inappropriate weather, important/sort-of important meetings, fabulousness, lack of sleep, too much coffee, alarming outfits, and twin love. We’re so happy to have shared the experience with all the new friends we’ve made – and with you, our lovely readers! But now, it’s time to move on from the excitement (for just a few months) and get back to our daily blogging routine… which is essentially blogging about nothing in particular. New York, see you in September, and thank you for being relatively kind to us!
