Flare Magazine: Toronto Fashion Week

It makes me very sad to admit, but yesterday was one of the first times I forayed out into the public eye outside school/work/internship. I’ve been drowning in projects for the past couple of weeks and in the process, made the necessary decision to cut myself off from all humans outside of school. It got kind of lonely, but at least I had Twitter (and my mom) to keep me company…:(

Of course, this sequestering meant that I hardly spoke to Bianca for two weeks (which I dearly regret – I am sorry sweet angel), but FW is always a time to bring twins ~back together~. Though we only had the Soia & Kyo show together, we messaged each other the day before to reconnect and relay our excitement that we would see each other !!ONCE AGAIN!!.

Unfortunately, a long work-filled night and busy morning meant that we arrived to the tents hours apart and were unable to talk about our outfits for the day…(which meant no planned ~cross-coordinated~ shenanigans, unfortunately). That’s why you can imagine our SURPRISE when we ran into each other, only to discover that wearing hues of taupes and winter whites resulted in a completely unplanned coordinating situation!!!!!!

Though we didn’t bring our own cameras to the event, we did get snapped by the super-talented/super-awesome Max Kopanygin for Flare Magazine. Take this as photographic evidence that we are style-mates and soul-sisters.

I will conclude with this threat:
To whoever who wants to argue that we aren’t telepathically connected: please eat your own words…because for the short-term, I will maintain that this particular ~happening~ was one of the weirdest/most surreal moments EVER, and we’ve been through our fair share of bizarre coincidences.

Did we ever tell you guys that the first time we met IRL, we discovered that we owned like 15 of the same items? Down to 3-year-old gingham shorts from Stitches? Well, that happened…but I think this is a lot more ~special~.

Have a good night, and please let us know that you agree that we are telepathically connected in the comments below.
