I’ve had a camera remote for a while now, but I’ve always been too lazy/self-conscious to embark on the ultimate #selfie setup. I don’t know what triggered (ha ha) my desire to take pictures today, but both my dad and grandmother were within a 4 meter proximity…so I’m pretty sure I’m never going to attempt to do this again.

Regardless, check out my new swaggy shirt from my friends over at NTHNG! It’s great. (PS: I’m sorry if the word “swaggy” offends you, swaggy friends, but I really don’t know how to begin to emulate a swaggy person in writing). #justinbieberforlife #justinbieberforever

On a more intelligent/interesting note, I’ve been listening to the new Yeah Yeah Yeahs album on repeat for the majority of the day. Though it doesn’t measure up to Fever to Tell (which carried a handful of anthems from my teenage years), I liked it a lot more than I originally anticipated. YYYs are a group I sporadically remember during the bleakest moments of my everyday human life, and though this may be because Karen O is/will forever be my aesthetic lady hero, I still think this is all worth mentioning.

Anyway, after spending the past 3 years drowning out my respectable music taste with mindless teeny-bopper pop bullshit, it’s difficult for me to grasp the concept of a lyrically compelling track. And though I’m not saying that I’ve found Nirvana in Mosquito (that’s a strange sentence I never thought I’d say…), the album is still worth a dedicated day to reminisce and daydream about being Karen O.

Also 1) Not going to be the last time you hear this and 2) Another weird sentence without context, but Sacrilege is awesome.
