My body is an H&M archive. My existence is an H&M archive.
Since it came to Canada when I was in elementary school, I have shamelessly (and consistently) cited H&M as my favourite store; and during the 3.5+ years I worked for the company, I adopted a really unhealthy obsession with their “Trend” line.
The Swedish enterprise has always prided themselves on being the epitome of *fast fashion*, but when it comes to the unconventional nature of “Trend”, the general public seldom ~understands~ the strange things they produce. Luckily for me, I’ve always been super keen on picking up the oddities the section had to offer, and every season I would purchase bountiful amounts of the weird things no one wanted on super heavy markdown.
There have been multiple occasions when my friend (and fellow ex-employee) Maegan would go through my closet and joke that I was either 1) in possession of an H&M Trend archive or 2) attempting to start my own H&M store. This both upset me and flattered me because I am a dedicated individual.
Anyway. Above, I’m exemplifying the aforementioned H&M archive on my body by wearing 3-years of designer collaborations and one very uncomfortable t-shirt that is made out of super confusing shape-embossed terrycloth. (Important: I have the matching shape-embossed terrycloth skirt as well, but I’m saving it for days when it’s really hot so my entire body can be clothed in material that can only /really/ be appropriate for sweat-absorption).
Ok bye.
