SHOP THE LOOK:

Outlet shopping was one of many fun, family-oriented things my boyfriend’s family and I did in California. We visited two malls: one in Las Vegas and one in Sacramento, neither of which I know the names to. The stores did quite the number on Justin – who walked away with a new pair of Nikes and dad jeans from Levi’s – but I was less successful in the hunt for a good steal. I did find this funky romper from a BCBG outlet at a fraction of the price, but as far as made-in-China garb goes, it was still a bit of a heavy price tag. Justin was quick to say I looked like a Flintstone when I stepped out of the change room, so I knew I had to buy it anyway. How are we supposed to dress up as Pebbles and Bam-Bam for Halloween without it?!

Anyway, I didn’t regret my purchase because the next day was, as they say, hot as balls; I’m guilty at wearing-before-washing, so I felt heaps less sweaty in my back-less, breathable body-coverer and I was even able to shoot photos in front of an old beater using the most apathetic of apathetic poses. Groundbreaking piece of clothing, I tell you. GROUND. BREAK. ING.
