Hello and welcome to our fifth Forever 21 post as ~brand ambassadors~. Not trying to toot our own horn or anything, but we’re pretty much pros at these posts by now! The process goes something like this: Danielle and I see one another from across a short distance, a smile grows on each of our faces, our paces increase until we leap into each others’ arms, hug in slow motion, and waltz arm-in-arm into the nearest store location. We then split up, peruse the merchandise, and regroup with separate piles of glorious statement pieces draped over our heads/shoulders/knees/toes.

Thanks to our telepathically connected minds (and Forever 21’s very consistent colour stories), the garments we choose individually are almost always cross-coordinated when put together. That being said, you can imagine the lack of surprise we experienced last week when Danielle snagged the same pair of platforms I did, but in a different colour. “Oh hey,” she exclaimed, “these shoes match that sweater you picked up! And also, you are the most wonderful person on the planet.” I blushed and thanked my dear friend for her sweet compliment, and she continued, “You have the purest heart. I give you my warmest smile for being by my side.”

All of this is a true story. Goodbye.
