Instagram: October In Review

In eager preparation of Kastor & Pollux’s F/W collection (LAUNCHING TOMORROW, FINALLY!!!!), we shot this cool promo video featuring slow motion hugs, oven mitted waves, and 6 interchangeable pieces.
In case you missed it, we also shot this Fall Essentials Lookbook in collaboration with MINKPINK and Dr. Martens via Lotus Leaf Communications.
L’Occitane on Bloor Street reopened it’s doors earlier this month and beckoned us into it’s beautiful new space. We tried out a variety of products that left our skin feeling silky smooth, and walked away with a jar of Almond Milk Concentrate – which is not only great decoration, but is also the perfect product to combat the impending cold weather.
More than a month after leaving the city that never sleeps, we wrote a post for our friends over at Capezio recapping our experience in a variety of fun polaroids!
We’re throwing it back to the best picture that has ever existed. Need I even expand on the events taking place here?
Bianca came to visit me at work. It was really fun because she’s inherently fun and also she’s my only friend……..
Forever 21 shootin’ in front of Bianca’s new front door.
We made a lil’ appearance on an episode of After Degrassi so we recalled that really great time when our BFF Phoebe wore our Acidalia necklace.
We made a couple o’ talented friends from Vancouver (who are now my interns at FORA) and they helped us shoot another look for Forever 21! Pictured here is Jen, and shooting the picture (wooo #meta), is Rosanna who also shot this OOTD video for us. Talented friends are the best.
@minhchaup drew this awesome/amazing/very nice picture one of our NYFW outfits!
Another look from our Fall Essentials Lookbook featuring Forever 21’s #batsandcats collection.
Since moving into my new place, I’ve been buying knick knacks and reading books on my futon. Right now I’m reading On the Road because Seth Cohen said it’s his favourite book.
Bianca and I searched high and low for the Minju Kim collection at H&M and ended up turning to Opening Ceremony to fulfil our sartorial desires. Unfortunately, we were lied to (cry) and the coats we originally wanted never made their way to us. Either way, I got my hands on another (cool/but not as cool) jacket from the collection.
Toronto Fashion Week just reared it’s Canadian head. Pictured here is Thomas Balint’s all-black collection.
Bianca and I saw these cute bejewelled insect pins from Anthropologie over a year ago, and since then have been searching high and low for vintage equivalents. Bianca beat me to the punch and scored three cute lil’ buggies for ideal forehead adornment.
We shot our F/W lookbook (can I say FINALLY again?!) with our beautiful model friend Julia Monson (aka Jujumon). The results, once again, will be available for your viewing pleasure TOMORROW.
