Last Thursday, our fabulous friends over at Call It Spring invited us down to Montreal to capture some ~behind the scenes~ action at their spring *STREET STYLES* shoot. Though this required us to wake up at 4am to catch our early mornin’ flight, we were all smiles as we cruuuuised in the sky with copious amounts of chocolate chip shortbread cookies in our bags (THX PORTER LOUNGE), and each other’s wonderful company in our <3 hearts <3

If you’re not familiar with Call It Spring (part of Aldo Group), all you’ve got to know is as that it’s the coolest. Ever.
From shoes to miscellaneous accessories, affordable price points and on-point styles make for a generally good time. Plus, other than Kastor & Pollux, who DO U KNOW that can successfully integrate Photoshop transparency backgrounds, pastel gradients, and GENERAL EMOJI TALK in professional settings?! Ya. Exactly!!!

In between our time on set, we were also given the chance to tour of ALDO Groupe’s Montreal-ian headquarters. Though we had previously heard of the ~~wonders~~ of this building (but mainly their cafeteria aka where the #FOODPORN is), we certainly weren’t expecting such a vast (and extensive) expanse of beautiful art and beautiful shoes.
Needless to say, by the end of the tour, we had reached our weekly allotment for cardio and subsequently went home to sleep a deep (and beautiful-shoe induced) sleep.

Despite the rise-and-shine-at-4am situation, our day jaunt to Montreal was above and beyond what we could have ever expected! Not only did we get to fly back and forth on an airplane, but we also got to participate in a helium-balloon-filled funsie photoshoot and stick our feet in awesome shoes. Thanks to Naeme and to the entire CIS team for 1) the opportunity, 2) the aforementioned fun times, 3) being super accommodating, and 4) feeding us. We can’t wait to share the final images from the shoot and our forthcoming coverage on the CIS blog!
